Privacy Policy
Effective October 10, 2026
This policy explains how GBP Fix uses personal data. The details of the data controller are at the end of this page.
1. What data we use and where it comes from
- Business contact details from public sources, such as Google listings and business websites: business name, the name of a contact person if it is published, email address, phone number and website.
- Information you send us, such as emails, messages sent through the contact form on this website (your email and comment), answers to our questions and details about your business.
- Payment and billing details. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your name, email, billing address and payment status, but never your full card number.
- Details needed for invoices and accounting records.
- Technical data, such as your IP address, which our hosting provider processes when you visit this website.
2. Why we use it
- To contact businesses with an offer of our service. This is based on our legitimate interest in promoting our service to businesses (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To reply to your messages and to provide the service you ordered. This is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To issue invoices and keep accounting records, as required by Polish tax law (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- To run and protect this website, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Giving us your data is voluntary, but we can't provide the service or issue an invoice without the details needed for it. We don't use automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Who receives the data
Stripe processes payments. Google provides our email and, if you give us manager access, access to your Business Profile. Cloudflare hosts this website. Invoices are issued in the wFirma accounting service and handled by our accounting office. Each of them receives only the data needed for its part of the work.
4. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some of these providers process data in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
- Business contact details used for an offer: up to 12 months, or less if you ask us to stop.
- If you ask us not to contact you again, we keep your email address only to make sure we don't.
- Order data: as long as needed to provide the service and handle any claims.
- Invoices and accounting records: as long as Polish tax law requires, generally five years from the end of the year in which the tax was due.
6. Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of its use, or a copy to move to another service. You can object to the use of your data based on our legitimate interest, and you can object to being contacted with offers at any time by replying "no" to our email or writing to us. You can also lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl).
7. Cookies
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page.
